Live Music Series at The Lab

The past couple months I have been busy helping my good friend Mary Rahmani put together a phenomenal live music series at The Lab in Costa Mesa. Mary and I put the series together in order to get the incredible bands in Los Angeles more involved in the Orange County scene and allow Orange County bands to network with some of LA’s best. The line-ups we put together are absolutely killer. The concert series will be held every Saturday in August from noon to 4pm with four bands each day. All ages are welcome and the shows are free, so feel free to bring the whole family for an afternoon full of fabulous music.

In order to get Los Angeles and Orange County even more acquainted we invited sponsors from both counties to join in on the fun. We’re pleased to have KROQ Locals Only, Filter Magazine, OC Weekly, and Indie Printing on board for the weekly event. Indie Printing was kind enough to donate posters for the series. I Promote Good Bands uses Indie Printing for all poster printing. They’re quick, inexpensive, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Although the show is free, we are asking for donations with 100% of the proceeds going to Pablove – a pediatric cancer foundation. Anything you can spare would be wonderful. Since Mary and I put together such a great and free event full of great music we decided to give back a little. Pablove is a great cause and we wanted to shine some attention on the wonderful things they are doing. Please head to http://www.pablove.org to find out more about Pablove.

In order to promote the live music series and give everyone a taste of the music that will be featured, Mary and I will be guest DJs on KUCI 88.9 on July 22 from 8-10pm. Please tune in by going to http://www.kuci.org – I apologize in advance for the awkwardness that is sure to come, but the music is going to be absolutely fantastic!

Remember: This live music series is held at The Lab EVERY Saturday in August from noon to 4pm. Line-ups and set times are on the poster below. Since the series is ALL AGES and FREE there really isn’t an excuse not to come! Every single band is amazing. Mary and I are pleased to have them on board. Also, make sure to rsvp to the event on Facebook HERE. Los Angeles and Orange County are so close to one another, so why not become acquainted with each other?
