The name I Promote Good Bands was first used in October 2006 by me, Rian Borland, when Myspace was still booming. IPGB officially became a full fledged music promotion company in February 2010 with a website, a business license, and a show at the Echoplex in Los Angeles. Currently, IPGB operates as a one-woman show, and books and presents shows in Los Angeles and Portland. I am also available for freelance music supervision gigs.
