About IPGB

ABOUT I PROMOTE GOOD BANDS:

I Promote Good Bands is my moniker, so to speak. My name is Rian Borland and I originally captured the name I Promote Good Bands in October 2006 when Myspace was still booming. IPGB officially came to be in February 2010 with this website and a show at the Echoplex in Los Angeles. Through the years, I Promote Good Bands has allowed me to meet some of the raddest people and work with incredibly talented artists. IPGB changes frequently. It sort of grows as I do. Expect more changes and more growth in the coming weeks, months, and years.

I try anything and everything involving music. I attempt to push IPGB in new directions constantly. I prefer working with artists who step outside the normal LA or Portland sound and enjoy curating events that combine different art elements. It’s just more fun that way. Are you into cool music and art? Let’s hang out, and do rad things together.
